Flashbug – remote tracing in Firefox

Long time no post! I have been busy traveling around, getting stuck in ash clouds and kicking off new projects. This post will be brief but useful.

Flashbug is a Firebug extension for Flash. It displays all the running .SWF file trace output. Requires Flash Player Debugger to work properly. Also display AMF data to and from the server. Requires Firebug 1.4+.

I used to use FlashTracer but this stopped being supported after Firefox 2 I think. I am probably very late to discover this extension but remote Flash tracing is very, very useful sometimes. Hope it helps 🙂
